Bedtime stories part 2

So I've discovered that every time I try and do a blog series, B's routine changes fundamentally and scuppers my plans.

This change I'm not bothered about. For months I've been trying to find a good way to introduce a bedtime story into B's routine and now I've finally got it sorted. After a bath, just after getting pyjamas on and before cleaning his (two) teeth, we sit on the floor and read a book.

I've even started pointing at the picture to get him to engage more with the story. This has also extended his routing of  bath, lotion, pjs, book, teeth, gro bag, bottle, cuddle, bed to 45 minutes which is great as after 5pm he just whinges and rubs his eyes.

I was looking forward to shairing my own made up stories with you and no doubt there will still be occasions where I have to make up a tale and I will blog about it. So you still have that to look forward to.
