Our Summer in a Nutshell

I seem to have been away for a while. Summer came and went in a bit of blur, I woke up a few days ago to rain and grey skies and suddenly realised that we were in mid September, that's not summer anymore.

We've had a few firsts, a few highs, a few lows and a few potentially life changing events.

So this is what we've done, in bullets, so you can read it as quickly as I felt it went:

  • Discovered sandpits
  • B said Dad and then Mum
  • B tried crawling
  • B discovered walking holding onto people and then stopped trying to crawl
  • We had the worst teething week ever...but still no teeth
  • We bought a fish tank, with fish in it
  • We discovered paddling pools
  • We had 1 christening...
  • ...and 2 funerals
  • We discovered soft play
  • We bought a house (which is taking aaaaaages to sort out!)
  • J failed his driving test
  • We took a pretty scary bus ride to the south downs
  • We went to the zoo
  • We discovered libraries
  • We started Tumble Tots (blog post to follow)
  • We took a few more trips to Wales
  • We met Monty, Gran's dog
  • B went to London for the first time
  • B visited the Sealife Centre
  • I ran the race for life

That's it! It'll be Christmas soon!
